PIERCINGS!!!!

Ok, so I was talking to Jean about my piercings, and I got a super cool idea! I'm going to tell everyone my piercings, and why each one is special! I'll start chronologically;

1st Lobe piercings: I got these when I was really really little, I'm not sure of what age, but I've had them for as long as I can remember. These piercings are special because well, they never closed up. Me and my sister had them done at the same time, and after they had healed up all the way, she left earrings out for a couple months, and they closed up. I didn't wear earrings for over a year, and they never closed, it wasn't even hard to put an earring in when I decided to start wearing them again lol. Thats why they are so special, I've had them forever (they are also gauged up to a size 2 currently, thats pretty special too lol).

Top Cartilage Piercing (Left Ear): I got this when I was 14, right before my freshman year in HighSchool. My mum did it for me, it was the first piercing she did for me. I remember the day all too well, we were still living in Abilene but my dad was sending us back to live with my aunt, his sister, because the environment we were living in was...not good at all, and we'll just leave it at that. So my mum asked if I wanted it done still because I had asked her before to do it, so I said yeah. My aunt would be there soon, so she did it right then, she grabbed a needle and a piece of cork, and had me sit down with a clothespin on my ear (to help numb it so it didn't hurt too terribly bad) and then she pierced it. It got infected, and I had to let it close up, but thankfully, it didn't close up all the way (I'm really lucky apparently) and I was able to get an earring in, and it is still the original hole. This one is so special because well, I wasn't sure if I was ever going to see my mum again...so yeah, thats why its so special to me.

Side of my ear (Left Ear): This is actually the first piercing I did by myself. I believe I did it sometime during Freshman Year, if not then it was that summer, and this one is supposed to be after the next one. Anyways, I think it was the first piercing I did myself, and I did it believe it or not because I was told I was not allowed to (lol). It was pretty fun, After I did it, I couldn't believe it, it was so awesome, thats what got me started in doing all my own piercings. Its so special obviously because its the first one I did myself, and it got me into doing my own.

2nd Lobe Piercing (Left Ear): This is either before or after the Side of my ear piercing...I'm not sure. But I remember when I did this one. I was at a college camp at UNT and decided I wanted to do it. So I did it. I almost passed out because of the pain (I didn't have anything to numb it, or to even push it up against) but it was worth it. Its special because it reminds me of the people at UNT I spent the 2 weeks with.

2nd Lobe piercing (Right Ear): This one has a funny story behind it. I never planned to do it, I just did it. I was going to pierce my sister's boyfriend's ear, and he wanted it but he was afraid it would hurt too much. So I had my mum pierce my ear just to show him that it didn't hurt that bad. Well, it would up hurting him alot more than it hurt me. Its special because it reminds me of Ikey-Poo, my dorky bubble-lips, and all the good times we had when they still lived in Irving (or even Texas for that matter).

Nose Piercing: I did this one myself, I know its risky, but hey I didn't want to go pay alot of money for something I could do in my bathroom with some ice, a potato, and a needle. My mum's friend had worked in Claire's and she had gotten a bunch of stuff they were getting rid of for free, so she gave some to my mum. Two of the things she got were two packages of nose studs. My parents thought they were being funny and came and gave them to me and were like here you go, enjoy. Naturally I freaked because I thought they were saying I could go get my nose pierced. Then my dad said "Those are for if you ever manage to trick us into taking you to get your nose pierced." I got upset, then asked if I could do it myself, I don't know if they thought I was kidding or not, but they said yeah, sure. I ran out of the room and got everything together. when I walked back into their room 20 mins later, I had a stud in my nose. I think my dad was a little shocked. I've had it for a little over a year now I believe, its special because well, its liek the first facial piercing I have, and I did it all by myself and it has never gotten infected.

Side of my ear (Right Side): I actually just did this one on Wednesday April 1, 2009 around 5pm. I have been trying for a while to get my ears evened out (I just need to do the cartalige on my Right Ear and it will be even) and I decided that since prom is next month, I wanted to do it so I could wear these cool earrings I have. Its special because, duh I did it for Prom.

Well, as of right now thats all I have. Pretty soon I'll have the cartilage done and it will be special because I'm doing it for prom AND because it will be the first time I'm using a piercing gun on myself.
